Curso Intensivo para Jovens Compositores 2026

Atlantic Center for the Arts presents its inaugural Young Composers Intensive, a ten‑day/overnight residency running July 16–25, 2026. Designed for composers aged 16 to 24, the program is built around Daniel Felsenfeld’s course “The Ethical Composer” and includes mentorship from composer Daniel Felsenfeld, pianist Andrea Christie, and soprano Britt Hewitt. Participants will develop an art‑song composition, receive daily intensive work sessions, and culminate in a professional performance and recording of their piece. The residency provides a single‑room accommodation with private bathroom, three meals per day, on‑site staff support, and tuition covering lodging and meals. Limited partial scholarships are available. Applications are accepted via Eventbrite, with a fee of $1150 (plus fees).
