Yosemite Renaissance 42

Yosemite Renaissance 42 is the 42nd annual art exhibition organized by the non‑profit Yosemite Renaissance. The call invites visual artists worldwide to submit original works—paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, fiber, glass, woodworking, jewelry, ceramics, and mixed media—created within the last five years and related to the landscape, environment, wildlife, and people of Yosemite National Park and the broader Sierra Nevada region. Submissions must be in English and may include limited‑edition prints; film, video, interactive media, and performance are excluded. Artists may submit up to eight entries, with a maximum of two accepted for display. The first entry costs $25, additional entries $15, and the fee is non‑refundable. Accepted works will be exhibited at the Yosemite Gateway Art Center in Oakhurst, CA, from March 20, 2027, and will travel to other California venues through February 2028. All works sold through the exhibition are subject to a 40 % commission retained by Yosemite Renaissance. The competition awards $4,000 in cash prizes, distributed among Best of Show, First, Second, Third, Honorable Mention, and People’s Choice categories. The deadline for submissions is December 21, 2026, with notification of acceptance in mid‑February 2027.
