WE COME IN PIECES: Concurso Aberto Prospect Art 2027 (Comissão de US$ 1.500)

Prospect Art, a Los Angeles‑based nonprofit, invites professional visual artists worldwide to apply for the 2027 NEW WORK commission under the curatorial theme "We Come in Pieces". The call seeks a single artist to create a new conceptually driven work responding to the theme, with a $1,500 commission to be completed within twelve months. Applicants are also considered for the ONE WORK online series and the BROADCAST program. The call is open to artists of all media—moving image, installation, sculpture, photography, performance, sound, digital media, software‑based practices, networked art, and interdisciplinary forms—except those currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studio art programs. Applications are submitted via Prospect Art’s online Google Form; a $10 administrative fee is required but can be waived upon request. Selected artists receive the commission, a featured section on the Prospect Art website, and social media promotion. The deadline for submissions is August 16 2026.
