3º Prêmio de Caligrafia de Hengshan – Inscrições abertas internacionalmente

The Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA) together with the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center (HCAC) announces the Third Hengshan Calligraphy Award, an international open call inviting artists, curators and art collectives worldwide to submit curatorial proposals for a museum‑wide exhibition at HCAC. Applications are accepted online from 1 September 2026 until 30 November 2026 (5 p.m. Taiwan Time). The award aims to encourage innovative curatorial practices and contemporary expressions of calligraphy, welcoming interdisciplinary approaches that may involve moving image, installation, performance, technology or other media. Eligibility is open to all nationalities; applicants must be at least 18 years old and may apply individually or as a group. The winner receives a cash prize of TWD 300,000 and an exhibition production budget of up to TWD 2 million, plus airfare support for travel related to the exhibition. Up to five finalists each receive TWD 30,000. The award includes a commission to develop the selected proposal into a new exhibition at HCAC within three years.
