The Homiens Art Prize is a meritocratic international competition that invites artists of all disciplines and career stages to submit their work for consideration. Open to all artists worldwide, the call accepts any medium—painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation, audiovisual, and more—without theme or size restrictions. Works completed in any year are eligible. Each round announces three winners, twelve finalists, and up to 200 highly commended artists. Winners receive an unrestricted cash award of $1,000, while finalists gain exhibition opportunities in Homiens’ quarterly shows and media exposure on the organization’s website and mailing list. The prize pool totals over $12,000 USD annually, supporting artists’ career development. The competition also offers optional interview series, a “Meet the Artists” feature, and a “Promoted Artists” program to enhance visibility. A limited number of free submissions are available each round to promote accessibility. Applications are accepted through the Submittable portal, with a $35 entry fee (early‑bird discounted to $30 in June). The current 2026 round opens on 6/8/26 and closes on 7/29/26 at 11:59 PM.
