Project Arts Grants support the creation or public presentation of new artistic work within the Dublin City Council administrative area. Eligible projects may include exhibitions, performances, publications, or other artistic initiatives involving professional artists. The grant is open to individual professional artists, arts organisations, and producers or curators who engage at least one professional artist. Applicants must demonstrate a public presentation in the Dublin City Council area and provide evidence that at least 30 % of the project budget comes from sources other than the grant. Grants range from €5,000 to €10,000 and may cover up to 70 % of total project costs (excluding personal access costs). Applications are assessed competitively on artistic ambition, audience engagement, and feasibility. The deadline for the 2027 round is 12 noon, Wednesday 28 October 2026. Applications are submitted online via Submittable, and a guidance PDF and information sessions are provided to assist applicants. The grant is awarded annually, subject to available funding.
