Residência Artística Sitio Projects

Sitio Projects is an independent visual arts residency based in the historic city of Granada, Andalusia. The program invites artists of any nationality, over 18, to engage in research and production over periods ranging from one to three months. Each resident receives a private apartment in central Granada, a dedicated studio equipped with natural light and essential art tools, and access to a 24/7 studio space. At the end of the stay, participants showcase their work in an open studio exhibition that encourages dialogue with the local community. The residency emphasizes process over finished product, encouraging curiosity, slow rhythm, and interaction with the city’s archives, museums, and cultural institutions. Logistical support is provided, including introductions to local workshops, suppliers, and art spaces. The program is open year‑round, accepting applications on a rolling basis, and the monthly fee of €1,500 covers accommodation, studio, and the open studio event. Applicants must submit a statement and CV through the online form; there is no application fee. The residency is individual, though accompanied stays are considered case by case. The program is available to visual artists working in painting, sculpture, installation, photography, drawing, video, and hybrid practices.
