Residências SAM | Museu de Arte de Cingapura – 4º Ciclo
Singapore Art Museum
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
SAM Residencies is a museum‑run programme at the Singapore Art Museum that supports innovative artistic and curatorial practices through studio‑based residencies. The 2027/2028 cycle (Cycle 4) welcomes applications from artists, curators, educators, researchers, and creative practitioners of all mediums and disciplines, including individuals, duos, and collectives. International applicants may apply for residencies of 1–3 months, while Singapore‑based participants can apply for up to 6 months. Selected residents will work in a dedicated studio or co‑working space, receive a monthly stipend and housing allowance (for international participants), and have access to an ideas lab for conceptual development. The programme encourages public engagement through open studios, workshops, talks, and other experimental formats, fostering dialogue between residents and the broader community. Applications are evaluated by an international panel of respected voices in contemporary art and practice. The residency cycle runs from June 2027 to December 2028, with the next cohort beginning in April 2025 and concluding in September 2026 for the previous cycle. The call is open to all artistic disciplines and encourages cross‑disciplinary exploration and community interaction.
