Rugby Open 2026

The Rugby Open 2026, organised by Rugby Art Gallery & Museum, invites contemporary artists from Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and the City of Coventry to submit up to three works (adult category) or two works (youth category, ages 14‑19) for a juried exhibition running from 9 December 2026 to 20 February 2027. An independent panel of judges will select works for display, and the overall adult winner receives a £1,000 prize plus £500 towards a future exhibition in the museum’s Floor One Gallery; a youth prize of £250 is also awarded. Applicants must pay a submission fee of £8.70 per adult work or £5.00 per youth work (bulk discounts available). The deadline for applications is Monday 23 November 2026 (9:48 am). Selected artists will exhibit their work at the Rugby Art Gallery & Museum and may benefit from increased visibility and the chance to sell at least one piece. The call is part of an annual series, making it a recurring opportunity for emerging and established regional artists.
