Residência La Nueva Fábrica (LNF) 2027–2028 – Chamada aberta para artistas, curadores e profissionais da área cultural

La Nueva Fábrica (LNF), a nonprofit contemporary art space housed in a former textile factory in Antigua, Guatemala, has opened its international open call for the 2027–2028 Residency Programme. The call welcomes artists, curators and cultural practitioners of any discipline, aged 18 or older, from any nationality. Five residents will be selected to undertake a research‑based stay of four to eight weeks, scheduled between September 2027 and June 2028, with exact dates coordinated with the LNF team. The residency emphasizes research, community engagement and critical dialogue rather than the production of a final artwork. Participants will have access to studio space, the LNF community, public programmes, open studios and local events, and are encouraged to contribute to these activities. No formal degree is required, and applicants may apply individually or in pairs. The application deadline is 18 October 2026 at 6:00 PM Guatemala time. Applications are free and should be submitted through the official LNF open‑call page. The programme offers a supportive environment for emerging and established practitioners to develop ideas, conduct contextual research, and build connections within the local community.
