The Mosesian Center for the Arts is excited to announce its second Artist-in-Residence Program! The program continues its dedication to uplifting new, emerging and local talent by providing the time and space needed to create, experiment, and grow. The program is rooted in our commitment to equity and access. The Mosesian Center for the Arts envisions a vibrant creative ecosystem where artists at early stages of their journeys can expand their practice, inspire the communities they serve, and shape the future of the arts.

One shared welcome reception with food and drink provided. 24-hour access to studio space. Shuttle service to and from the Alexandria Campus, where MCA is located. Limited routes. Cafe and restaurant located on campus.

Emerging and mid-career artists seeking time and space to create, experiment, and grow. Local and regional artists across disciplines, including: Visual artists (painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, mixed media) Performing artists (theater, movement, spoken word) Musicians who work with low-decibel instruments (solo acoustic, electronic, or experimental sound work suitable for shared studios) Literary artists (writers, poets, playwrights) Interdisciplinary and socially engaged artists
