Programa de Subsídios para a Internacionalização do Setor de Design

The Design Sector Internationalisation Grant Scheme, administered by the Creative Industries Fund NL (Stimuleringsfonds), supports projects in design, architecture, digital culture and interdisciplinary cross‑overs that aim at international research and collaboration. Activities must primarily take place abroad and the grant seeks to strengthen sustainable international networks for Dutch designers and design‑related organisations. Two funding structures are offered: a fixed grant of €2,480 per month for work periods of 1‑6 months, or a flexible grant of up to 12 months with a budget determined by the project plan. The total round budget is €229,000. Applications are free of charge. The call opened on 25 August 2026 and the deadline for submission is 22 September 2026 (15:00 CEST). Eligible applicants are Dutch design‑sector entities (individual designers, studios, research groups, or companies) that can demonstrate a clear international component and collaboration partner(s) abroad.

Grant funding for project costs (research, travel, production, exhibition).

Open to professional designers, design agencies, cultural institutions and other makers based in the Netherlands; projects must involve at least one international partner and focus on research, collaboration or production abroad.
