Platform Dalí launches its inaugural open call for residencies in 2027, inviting artists from all disciplines to develop a research‑and‑creation project in collaboration with one of its partner scientific institutions in Barcelona. The 12‑month residency offers a €7,500 honorarium, a €25,000 production budget, and full travel, accommodation and insurance support for artists based outside Barcelona. Applicants must have at least eight years of professional experience, a clear interest in the intersection of art and science, and a proposal that responds to the annual theme "What is real?". The program is free to apply and requires a portfolio, a brief biography, and a project proposal in Catalan, Spanish or English. Selected residents will work closely with researchers at institutions such as the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, ICFO, ICM, IFAE and PRBB, and will culminate in a public exhibition of their work in 2029.
