Patina Art Residency 2026 is an annual award that invites nominations of emerging artists whose practice engages with culture, sustainability and contemporary perspectives. The nomination process is open to artists worldwide and requires up to three existing works and a brief statement. The deadline for nominations is 30 August 2026. A jury of international art patrons selects one artist, who will receive a residency of up to one month at Patina Osaka in Japan. The residency includes accommodation, studio space, and the opportunity to create site‑specific work inspired by the destination. The selected artist will be announced in October 2026 in London, where a public exhibition and announcement event will take place. The program also offers public‑facing talks, workshops and exhibitions at the property. No application fee is required.
