Mural temporário

Scottsdale Public Art is seeking artists or artist teams to design and paint a temporary exterior mural on the City of Scottsdale water riser and the concrete SRP well site on the south side of Thomas Road, between North 81st Way and North 82nd Street. The artwork theme should relate to water or the SRP canal system. The selected artist will create a design, apply it with paint, and maintain the work as needed. The mural will be displayed for two years before being painted over. Timeline (subject to change): August/September 2026 – panel selection; September 2026 – contract signed; October 2026–February 2027 – design approvals; March 2027 – installation; March 2029 – de‑installation. The project has a total budget of $10,000 USD. Applicants must submit a CV, artwork portfolio, references, and an artist statement. The opportunity is open only to artists working in Arizona, United States, with relevant experience.
