Sobre Esta Oportunidade

The Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (HCCC) runs an annual Artist Residency Program that supports craft artists working in wood, glass, metal, fiber, clay, and interdisciplinary craft + photography. Residents receive 24/7 access to a 200‑square‑foot studio, a $1,000 monthly stipend, professional development, teaching opportunities, and participation in artist talks and public exhibitions. Applications for the 2026–2027 cycle open on December 1, 2026, and close on February 1, 2027. Applicants must submit an artist statement, résumé, three references, and images of ten works created in the past two years, and must work in the studio at least two days per week during public hours. The program is open to emerging, mid‑career, and established artists; international applicants must document U.S. work eligibility and provide an IRS tax‑processing number. The residency lasts between three and twelve months, with the next cycle running September 2026 – August 2027. No application fee is required.
