Chamada aberta para o Pavilhão Tschumi
Kunstpunt Groningen
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
Kunstpunt Groningen launches its first Open Call for the Tschumi Pavilion, a public glass structure on Hereplein in Groningen. As part of the Hellend Vlak (‘Slippery Slope’) program, the call seeks artists who can respond to contemporary social developments with a temporary artwork that is clearly visible from the street, respects the pavilion’s architecture, and engages the public. The selected artist(s) will receive an artist fee of €1,500 (excl. VAT) and a project budget of €17,000 to develop and realise the work, which will be installed in June 2027 and displayed until September 2027. Applications consist of a motivation letter, CV, and website link, to be submitted by 4 November 2026. The call is open to artists with a demonstrable connection to Groningen or the province, and the artwork must be sustainable, non‑obstructive, and suitable for a public setting. An artistic and technical adviser will support the artist during the design phase.
