Fundação Music Maker Relief – Subsídios de Emergência

The Music Maker Relief Foundation’s Emergency Grants provide substantial one‑time cash assistance to partner musicians facing crisis situations such as medical emergencies, fire, theft, or other urgent needs. Since its inception the foundation has awarded over 12,000 cash grants to more than 500 musicians. Eligible artists are senior musicians (55+) with an annual income below $25,000 who are part of the traditional American music community. The program operates on a rolling basis with no set deadline; applications are accepted continuously throughout the year. There is no application fee. Grants are disbursed directly to artists to cover essential expenses like housing, utilities, medical bills, transportation, and other emergency costs. The foundation also offers a broader Sustenance program that includes monthly grants and COVID‑related stipends.

One‑time cash grants for emergency needs such as home or car repairs, medical bills, and in‑home health care; also access to social‑service counseling.

Artists must be 55 years or older, have an annual income under $25,000, and be rooted in an American musical tradition.
