MIFA 2027: Chamada aberta para projetos de exposição

Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA) is calling for exhibition projects for its 2027 program across four gallery spaces. The call welcomes individual, collective, curatorial, and interdisciplinary projects at any stage of development—including finished exhibitions, works in progress, site‑specific proposals, and projects that engage with MIFA’s architecture and community. Proposals are evaluated on artistic quality, conceptual clarity, contemporary relevance, technical feasibility, and the ability to engage with the requested gallery space. The submission deadline is 30 September 2026, with a curatorial review from 1–16 October, notification of shortlisted projects on 19 October, and final selection and space assignment on 25 November. Selected projects must confirm participation and reserve a gallery space by 30 November, sign agreements, and complete payments on schedule. The participation fee, payable after selection, ranges from $1,632 to $2,752 per room, with taxes and a deposit. MIFA provides the gallery space, basic coordination, guidance on layout and lighting, promotion through its digital channels, and beverage service at the opening reception. Participants are responsible for production, installation, travel, accommodation, and other logistics. The call is open to artists, curators, collectives, and cultural organizations worldwide, with no restrictions on nationality, residence, identity, discipline, or medium, provided applicants are 18 years or older.

Use of an assigned gallery space for the exhibition period, basic coordination and inclusion in MIFA’s institutional calendar, guidance on layout, circulation, and lighting, basic promotion through MIFA’s digital channels, basic beverage service at the opening reception, and connection with MIFA’s community of artists, curators, and collaborators.

Applicants must be 18 years or older. Open to emerging, mid‑career, and established artists; independent curators, artist collectives, cultural organizations, and educational or research platforms; MIFA artists in residence and artists outside the institution. National and international participants are welcome with no restrictions based on nationality, country of residence, identity, discipline, or artistic medium.
