No Listening 2027 – Chamada para trabalhos híbridos de rádio e ao vivo

CTM Festival, in partnership with Deutschlandfunk Kultur and ORF, launches the In Listening 2027 open call for works grounded in experimental sound practices, audio art, and conceptual sonic narratives. Selected artists will develop a hybrid piece presented as a live performance in Berlin’s silent green Kuppelhalle during the CTM Festival (22–31 January 2027) and as a 40–55 minute radio broadcast on Deutschlandfunk Kultur’s Klangkunst programme in Spring 2027, with additional exposure on ORF platforms in Autumn 2027. The commission supports two works with a fee of €6,000 each, covering travel, lodging, technical staging, and production costs. Applicants must submit a project description, technical requirements, and CV (max 20 MB PDFs) in English, outlining a rough budget and artistic concept. The deadline for submissions is 6 September 2026 (23:59 CET). The call is open to artists working in experimental sound, audio art, or related interdisciplinary practices, with no nationality restrictions. The jury comprises CTM co‑founder Jan Rohlf, representatives from Deutschlandfunk Kultur and ORF, and an independent artist. CTM provides support, counselling, and assistance throughout the production phase (late October 2026 – January 2027).

Commission fee of €6000 per work; technical and staging costs covered; travel expenses and lodging in Berlin covered; support and counselling during production.

Open to artists worldwide; individual or group projects allowed; proposals must be submitted in English; works must focus on experimental sound practices and active listening.
