Concurso de Arquitetura Kaira Looro 2027

The Kaira Looro Architecture Competition 2027 invites students and young architects to design a sustainable health centre for rural Senegal. The competition is judged by a jury of more than 25 globally renowned architects, including Kengo Kuma, Benedetta Tagliabue, and Sir David Adjaye. Participants may register as teams of 1 to 5 members, with registration fees ranging from €60 to €120 depending on the registration period. The first-place winner receives a €6,000 cash prize and an internship at Kengo Kuma & Associates, as well as opportunities at other leading studios such as EMBT, Adjaye Associates, and SBGA. All selected projects receive international visibility through exhibitions, publications, and a global awards book. The competition is held annually, with the final deadline on 6 June 2027. The event supports humanitarian projects that have already reached over 50,000 people in Africa, and proceeds are donated to build wells, schools, and health centres in vulnerable areas.
