Programa de Turnês Internacionais e Responsabilidade Ambiental
Arts Council England (in partnership with Arts Council Norway, Danish Arts Foundation and Creative Scotland)
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
Applications are now open for the fifth edition of the International Touring and Environmental Responsibility (ITER) Programme, a collaborative initiative funded by Arts Council England, Arts Council Norway, the Danish Arts Foundation and Creative Scotland, and delivered by Julie’s Bicycle together with in futurum. The programme aims to help the performing‑arts sector reduce the carbon footprint of international touring while fostering inclusive and equitable collaborations. ITER provides two online seminar tracks – Pathfinders for beginners (up to 32 places) and Changemakers for advanced practitioners (up to 28 places) – featuring interactive sessions, guest speakers, tools and case studies. Participants may also apply for project funding to test and implement sustainable touring approaches developed during the seminars. The call welcomes venues, touring companies, festivals, orchestras, theatre companies, solo artists, producers and multidisciplinary arts organisations working in dance, music or theatre across England, Denmark, Norway and Scotland. Eligibility extends to individual artists and organisations, including Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations and Creative Scotland multi‑year funded bodies for additional activity. Applications close at 5 pm BST on 1 September 2026. The programme is free to attend, and successful applicants receive both training and financial support to advance low‑carbon touring models.
