Ghar – Open Mic (Tape A Tale)
Tape A Tale
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
Ghar, organized by Tape A Tale, is a community‑driven open mic platform that takes place in more than thirty cities across India and beyond. Artists, poets, storytellers and performers are invited to drop their name into a blind chit and, if selected, receive a five‑minute slot on stage to share a story, poem, or piece of fiction or non‑fiction. The format is unbiased and non‑juried – anyone can apply, and the draw is random. No entry fee is required and there is no monetary prize; participants gain exposure, a supportive audience, and the experience of performing in a welcoming environment. The event is ongoing, with regular dates in each city; performers can sign up via the ticket link or local city leader contacts. Resources provided include a stage, audience, and the community of fellow storytellers. The call is open to all ages, nationalities and artistic backgrounds.
