Inscrição Aberta para Artistas de Galveston

The Galveston Artists Open Call, organized by Davis Cohen Art (DCA), seeks visual artists and graphic designers with a meaningful connection to the Galveston, Texas, region or its surrounding Bay Area. Eligible applicants include current residents, artists who have exhibited locally, or those who can demonstrate a strong community tie. The call aims to commission permanent and site‑specific artworks for interior environments, contributing to a healing and welcoming atmosphere in the community. Applicants may submit 5–10 images of their practice, a 250‑word statement of interest describing their work and regional connection, and a brief CV or résumé. Submissions are accepted via email to info@daviscohenart.com, with file size limits of 10 MB per email. The deadline for submissions is November 30 2026, while questions can be asked on an ongoing basis. Selected artists will receive commissioned projects, exposure, and the possibility of future work with DCA and its clients. The opportunity is open to artists at all career stages, including emerging and self‑taught creators, and both individual artists and teams may apply.
