Financiamento para comunidades criativas
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
Waipā District Council, in partnership with Creative New Zealand, is inviting artists, groups, organisations and individuals to apply for the Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) funding. The scheme provides grants of $500 to $5,000 to support community‑based arts projects that enhance participation, access to the arts and youth engagement. Grants are awarded for projects that will be held in the Waipā district and must be led by a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. The funding is not for individual gain; it is intended to support community‑led creative activities such as workshops, festivals, exhibitions and other participatory events. The September 2026 round is open until 5 pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026, with a total of approximately NZ$50,000 available across the September 2026 and March 2027 rounds. Applicants must submit a completed application form and may contact the council for guidance. The application guide and form are available on the council website. Successful applicants receive the grant as soon as possible after notification, provided they supply bank details and invoice the council. The scheme is open to all New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who meet the eligibility criteria and can apply for multiple projects in a year, but only one application per project.
