Festival das Aves Aquáticas de 2027
Waterfowl Festival
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
The Waterfowl Festival, held annually on Maryland’s Eastern Shore each November, is one of the nation’s premier wildlife art and conservation events. The 2027 edition invites artists from across the United States to submit original works that depict waterfowl, wildlife, landscapes, sporting art, or maritime subjects. All submitted pieces must be for sale and are judged by a panel of experts. Accepted artists receive a place in the festival’s official guide and marketing materials, and their works are displayed to a large audience of collectors and enthusiasts. The festival offers a 35% commission on sales of original paintings and framed prints for painters, 50% on unframed prints, and a 30% commission for other media such as sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Registration for accepted artists is $125. The call is open to all national artists, with no age or residency restrictions. Applications are accepted until March 15, 2027, and the festival takes place in November 2027. Artists should submit high‑quality images (no more than two per piece) and a brief description of each work. The festival is a recurring annual event, and the 2027 call is part of its ongoing series.
