Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio, invites artists worldwide to submit works that explore the theme of reactions and the aftermath of change. The call, titled Counterform, welcomes any medium—painting, sculpture, photography, video, digital art, and more—without restriction on size or age of the work. Artists may submit up to three pieces for a flat entry fee of $45, with an additional $5 for each extra entry. All submissions are judged by an anonymous panel of professional and academic advisors, and the final selections are made by the gallery curator. Every exhibiting artist receives a $50 cash honorarium, and one work from each exhibition period wins a $1,000 Grand Jury Award. In addition, artists who choose to offer their work for sale receive 70% of the sale proceeds, with a 30% commission retained by the gallery. The exhibition runs from November 6 to December 4, 2026, and notifications of acceptance are sent by September 28. The gallery provides exhibition space and support for shipping and installation, but does not offer housing or travel assistance. The application process is completed online via Manifest’s entry form, and all accepted works must be delivered to the gallery by the specified deadline.
