Laboratório de Criação Coletiva 2027

Can Serrat’s Walking Practices Laboratory 2027 is an intensive collaborative residency that invites artists, writers, and researchers from diverse disciplines to investigate walking as a method of artistic and research practice. Over a period of one to six weeks, participants engage in collective work situated within the landscape of Montserrat, combining sensory exploration, ecological observation, site‑responsive creation, and reflective practices. The program is structured in two thematic phases—Palimpsests and Photosynthesis—each spanning three weeks, with optional one‑week modules. Participants receive accommodation, shared workspace, communal dinners, coffee and tea, access to equipment and technical support, and visibility through Can Serrat’s communication channels and a digital archive publication. The residency is open to all backgrounds and ages (minors with authorization) and does not require applicants to be artists or writers. Individual, duo, or collective applications are accepted. The application period runs from March 27 to October 3, 2026, and the residency will take place between January 10 and February 20, 2027.
