Subsídio do Programa Comunidades Criativas (CCS) para Projetos Artísticos Locais
Creative New Zealand
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) is a nationwide arts funding initiative administered by local councils and funded by Creative New Zealand. Each year the scheme supports over 1,800 individuals and community groups, offering financial assistance for a wide range of artistic disciplines – from craft and traditional arts to community performances, festivals and public artworks. Applications are made directly to the applicant’s local council, and closing dates vary across the country, with the current round closing on 31 August 2026. Eligible applicants include New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, community groups, arts organisations and collectives that are based in New Zealand. Projects must be local to the council area, have a clear artistic focus, not have started before funding approval, and be completed within 12 months of approval. Funding can cover materials, venue or equipment hire, short‑term artist or facilitator fees, promotion, workshop costs and reasonable project administration expenses. There is no upper funding limit, although most grants are under NZD $5,000. The scheme aims to increase community participation in the arts, celebrate cultural diversity, and create opportunities for young people under 18. For detailed application guidelines and council‑specific forms, see the council list PDF linked below.
