Chamada para inscrições: Portals – Exposição online aberta com júri da Collage Artists of America
Collage Artists of America
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
Collage Artists of America (CAA), a 501(c)(3) non‑profit founded in 1988, is calling for entries to its 2026 online juried exhibition 'Portals'. The show is open to both CAA members and non‑members and invites artists to submit up to four works that explore the concept of a portal—whether a doorway to another realm, a passage into the mind, or any other imaginative threshold. Submissions must be original, two‑ or three‑dimensional collage, mixed‑media collage, assemblage, or digital collage (excluding single‑image manipulation). Works that have previously appeared in a CAA juried exhibition are not eligible. The juror for this edition is Karin Skiba, a respected collage artist and former professor. The exhibition will run online from November 1 to December 31, 2026, with entries accepted through October 1, 2026, 11:59 PM PT. Winners will be announced on October 12 and awards presented on November 1. Cash prizes total $1,300: First Place $500, Second Place $300, Third Place $200, the Carolann Watterson Memorial Award $100, and up to four Honorary Mentions $50 each. Entry fees are $25 for members (up to four works) and $40 for a single non‑member entry plus $5 for each additional entry, payable via OnlineJuriedShows. The show will be hosted on the CAA website and on OnlineJuriedShows, with no housing or travel support provided. Artists may contact the exhibits co‑chairs at exhibits@collageartists.org for questions.
