Artista em Residência do Bylis Whispers

Bylis Whispers Artist in Residence invites artists, writers, photographers, musicians, performers, researchers and other cultural practitioners to spend one to three weeks in the rural village of Hekal, near the historic Illyrian city of Bylis. The programme is part of the Bylis Whispers initiative, a non‑profit cultural organisation that supports a rural library and community events. Residents live in a restored traditional house, sharing private rooms and communal spaces, and receive accommodation, breakfast, dinner and transport from Tirana. The residency offers studio space, a private library, Wi‑Fi, and optional one‑to‑one mentoring in writing, publishing or photography. Applicants submit a motivation letter, CV or portfolio, a project description and preferred dates; selection focuses on artistic quality, motivation and relevance to the local environment. The call is open on a rolling basis, with no fixed deadline, and the contribution fee is €300 per week paid by the artist.
