ArtWorks East
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
ArtWorks East, in partnership with ArtEast CIC, MindfullyCreate CIC and Divine Frequency, invites African & Caribbean diaspora artists and creative practitioners across all disciplines to apply for the BHM Benefit: Celebration of Community Creatives exhibition. The event, part of Black History Month, will take place on Thursday 29 October 2026 (private view 6–10 pm) with the exhibition running until early November 2026 at ArtWorks East, 32–34 Osier Way, London E10 5SB. Applicants may submit 2–3 artworks (or 2–3 tracks for acoustic/music and spoken‑word artists). The call is open to artists at any career stage, based in East London, London or elsewhere, and specifically seeks Black artists and those from the African & Caribbean diaspora. Selected artists will exhibit their work, receive exposure through social‑media promotion, network with peers, and may sell works on‑site, donating a percentage to the African Caribbean Women’s Development Centre and Volunteer of Africa. Applications are free; successful artists are asked to contribute a £20 donation to support the charities and event costs. The exhibition aims to foster community, cultural exchange, and wellbeing through visual art, music, performance and dialogue.
