Charles Wallace India Trust
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
The Charles Wallace India Trust, in partnership with the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts, announces the third Curatorial Research Fellowship for 2027. This three to six month residency at the V&A’s Photography Section invites mid‑career cultural producers in India aged 25–45 – artists, scholars, writers/editors, and curators – to submit research proposals that engage with the museum’s global photography collections. Fellows will conduct original research, contribute to ongoing projects, and may produce an exhibition or publication. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend of £1,600, an £800 contribution toward international return airfare, and covers visa expenses. Travel, accommodation and local expenses are the responsibility of the fellow. The selected fellow will commence in April 2027, with proposals due by 7 November 2026 and award announcement in February 2027. Applications consist of a 500‑word proposal and CV submitted in PDF format. The fellowship is open only to Indian citizens domiciled in India, aged 25–45, and does not accept collectives.
