Arts Alive Festival’s Gallery Exhibition is a highlight of the annual event held at the Kennedy‑Douglass Center for the Arts in Florence, Alabama. The juried show runs from May 15 to June 25, 2027, and features works by artists from across the southeastern United States. Artists may submit up to three pieces in a wide range of media—including painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, textiles, mixed media, metal, clay, glass, jewelry, photography, and wood—provided the works are original, framed or gallery‑wrapped, ready to hang, priced for sale, and completed within the last five years. The entry fee is a non‑refundable $45 jury fee. In addition to the opportunity to display and sell artwork, the exhibition offers prizes that total more than $6,000, and a 25 % commission is taken from sales to support arts education in northwest Alabama. The event is open to artists aged 18 and older who reside in the United States, Mexico, or Canada. All submissions must be uploaded as digital images for jury review, and the final selected works will be displayed in the gallery from May 15 to June 25, 2027. Artists are responsible for shipping and retrieving unsold pieces, and the center does not cover packing or shipping costs. The deadline for applications is February 5, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
