Residências artísticas na Katapult

Katapult is an independent studio space in Berlin dedicated to contemporary performing arts, especially dance and circus disciplines. The venue offers two studios (Studio 1 and Studio 2) that can be booked for rehearsals, workshops, photo/video shoots, or 24‑hour residencies. Artists of any career stage – from amateurs to professionals – are welcome to apply, provided they have the drive to create and respect the house rules. Residencies are not free; rates are €25 per hour for Studio 1 and €35 per hour for Studio 2, with additional fees for equipment or extended use. The space includes basic technical equipment such as a Soundboks Bluetooth speaker and standard lighting, with optional upgrades available for an extra charge. Katapult does not provide accommodation, so artists must arrange their own housing in Berlin. To request a residency, artists check the online calendar for availability and contact the office team by email to confirm the booking. The program operates on a rolling basis with no fixed application deadline, allowing artists to apply whenever a suitable slot is open. Supported by several cultural bodies, Katapult aims to foster creative development through flexible, affordable studio access.
