The Architecture Kick-start Grant Scheme, administered by the Creative Industries Fund NL (Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie), provides financial support of up to €10,000 per project to professional makers, design agencies, cultural institutions and observers working in the field of architecture, interior design, landscape design, urban development or related research. The scheme aims to stimulate experimentation, research and reflection that strengthen the quality and development of architecture in the Netherlands and the wider Kingdom. Applications are submitted via the Fund’s online platform during a defined grant period (2026‑2028) and are evaluated by an independent advisory committee based on artistic quality, relevance, methodology and impact. Eligible projects must have a budget not exceeding €10,000, a maximum duration of 12 months, and cannot be funded by other Creative Industries Fund schemes. The grant covers project costs only; no accommodation or travel allowances are provided. The next round opens on 30 September 2026 at 15:00 CEST and closes on 7 October 2026 at 16:00 CEST.
