33ª Exposição Anual de Marcenaria com Júri
Wharton Esherick Museum
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
The Wharton Esherick Museum’s 33rd Annual Juried Woodworking Exhibition, themed “Design for Living,” calls for contemporary makers to explore the relationship between people, objects, and the spaces they inhabit. Submissions must incorporate wood and may range from jewelry to furniture. The competition is open to emerging and established artists, designers, and craftspeople of any discipline, provided wood is a component of the finished piece. A $30 entry fee (reduced to $20 for museum members) applies, covering up to three pieces per entrant. Cash prizes of $500, $300, $200 for first‑through‑third place and a $200 Viewer’s Choice award will be awarded. Selected works will be exhibited in the museum’s 150‑sq‑ft visitor‑center gallery from 17 June to 19 September 2027, featured in an online exhibition, and included in a small publication. The museum provides insurance for the works, covers return shipping of unsold pieces, and offers public programs related to the exhibition. Artists retain pricing rights, with a 30 % commission retained by the museum on any sales.
