Your art in Congress: open selection for exhibitions in 2026

By Simone Salles Who wants to expose art or tell the story of Brazil in one of the most representative spaces in the country can now prepare: the Chamber of Deputies has opened up registrations for the selection of projects that will integrate the Cultural Agenda of 2026. The call is aimed at artists, curators, producers and non-profit institutions, from all regions of Brazil. Physical persons from 18 years old can register – minors can also participate, as long as they are legally represented. The edital includes artistic projects (such as photography, painting, sculpture and other visual languages) and historical projects, with a focus on themes related to the trajectory of Brazil. The registrations, free, are open until November 30, 2025 and must be made exclusively through online form. The projects will be analyzed by a commission that will take into account criteria such as creativity, technical quality and historical relevance. In addition to space for exhibition in the National Congress itself, the selected projects will have institutional support, including setting up the shows, dissemination and production of graphic material. It's a chance to give national visibility to your production and actively participate in the promotion of Brazilian culture. Since the beginning of the initiative, in 2014, the Cultural Center has organized more than 120 exhibitions, giving a stage to artists from all regions of the country.
