What Goes Here Flows Here 2026 Calendar Art Contest | City of San Marcos

The City of San Marcos Stormwater Management Department is conducting its 2nd annual Stormwater Calendar Art Contest! We need your creativity to help spread the word about the importance of water quality. Enter your art work for a chance to be featured in the What Goes Here Flows Here 2026 calendar!

How to Enter:

1. Print and complete the Stormwater Calendar Art Contest submission form
2. Illustrate the importance of stormwater pollution prevention
3. Submit your contest submission form and art by mail to:

Submission Deadline:

The deadline to submit artwork is August 1, 2025.

Qualifying Artwork Topics:

• Water quality
• Stormwater pollution prevention
• Only rain down the drain
• Protection of the San Marcos River

Contest Rules:

• Contestants must be students from the San Marcos area in grades K-12
• Artwork must be original. Any copy-written or computer-made art will be disqualified
• Artwork must be submitted on an 8 ½ by 11-inch paper or poster in horizontal orientation
• Crayons, markers, ink, paint, watercolors, cut paper or fabric can all be used
• Original artwork must be submitted
• One entry per student
• The artwork will become property of City of San Marcos and will not be returned
