»Wechselspiel« 5. Kunstpreis der Ev. Landeskirche Württemberg

The 10,000 Euro art prize is awarded for a artistic intervention in a church room in the Württembergian church district. The artistic means are freely selectable. Every form of visual art is possible. A short project description and a digital sketch are to be submitted. A jury, consisting of representatives of the church's art committees and predominantly renowned personalities from the art scene (academy, museums, artists' association), determines the winning design, which will be implemented. The jury can award up to three further designs with a recognition prize of 1,000 euros, connected with a public exhibition of the designs. > _»Wechselspiel« means: The intervention relates to the room and its furnishings in such a way that it enables a new perception of the familiar room or individual furnishings. It can do this by enabling new visual or sensory experiences, challenging critical reflection of the room and/or its purpose, and/or inviting interaction and participation.
