The application to the partially sponsored flexi residency is open all year around! Elevate your creativity in Venice, a city rich in culture and art history. The residency offers a serene and inspiring environment for artists, writers and researchers across various disciplines. Skyline is located at the heart of the picturesque Jewish Ghetto, in a newly renovated, unique authentic Venetian spacious apartment on the 7th floor of one of Venice’s tallest buildings. It offers a breathtaking view of the rooftop across the historic city. This exclusive setting invites to discover and reflect on Venice’s multi-layered facet while focusing entirely on creative endeavours. A bakery, cafe and a restaurant is 2 min. walk. A supermarket is 10 min. walking distance. The main bars and restaurants hub, Fondamenta Misericordia, is just across the bridge. Vaporetto/Water Bus Stations to all Venice Sestiere and the Islands is in the vicinity. Optional Exhibition Opportunity in our gallery. Conveniently located below the studio, facing the campo. Presentation of artists’ works arranged on a case-by-case basis. The works made during the residency will belong to the artist with no fee/commission to be paid to VenCon. The gallery is open to the public Sunday through Friday and is usually staffed during opening hours, meaning residents are welcome to work in the space and exhibit but not required to be on-site at all times. Please note: The studio apartment is on the 7th floor with no elevator therefore it is not suitable for individuals with mobility challenges.
