Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships 2026-2027

Every year, the Swiss Confederation awards Excellence Scholarships of the Government to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and more than 180 countries. The beneficiaries are selected by the granting agency, the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS). The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are intended for young foreign researchers who have completed a master's or doctoral degree, and foreign artists with a bachelor's degree.
