Residency Program

The purpose of the residency is for artists to take up space! We encourage artists to be big, be weird and explore their processes. Our residency program is about offering pressure-free creative spaces to our extended music and arts communities. With that, there are no expectations for outcomes or performances. This residency is designed with limited structure so you can stretch out and be you, and for you to get to know us. A number of past residency participants have gone on to present in Music Gallery’s public events. We welcome artists practicing in any discipline including but not limited to: visual artists, writers, composers, musicians, sound artists, dancers, filmmakers, textiles and more. Participants can be at any stage of their careers. We also welcome activists, teachers, students and creative thinkers who are interested in exploring and expanding their work in a way that needs physical room to grow.
