Public Art Community Mural Opportunity - Eastern Creek Quarter Shopping Centre

ECQ Outlet is commissioning a large-scale, hand-painted mural for a new basketball court precinct in Western Sydney. Positioned within a prominent outdoor zone designed for events, cinema nights and activations, the site is intended as a shared space for the broader community, not just for sport. The mural will act as a key visual anchor within this evolving civic environment. The mural wall measures approximately 12.4 metres wide by 5.2 metres high and may optionally extend onto the adjacent ground surface. Artists are invited to submit an Expression of Interest outlining their practice, relevant experience, and approach to community engagement. No mural concept is required at this stage. The commission includes a facilitated engagement process, with support provided throughout project delivery. This is a paid opportunity with a total artist budget of $41,925 + GST. Artists must be able to deliver a large-scale, hand-painted mural independently and to a professional standard.
