Peers 2025 - Khoj Studios
About This Opportunity
The Peers 2025 residency kicked off with a two day dark room workshop with Srinivas Kurungati. During the course of the residency, the Peers 2025 cohort visited the studios of Ashok Ahuja and Raqs Media Collective. They had in-person interactions with Jeebesh Bagchi, Gagan Singh, Rahee Punyasholka, and Adwait Singh. The critic-in-residence also had a one-on-one writing session with Adwait Singh. The cohort also participated in a writing workshop facilitated by Annalisa Mansukhani at FICA which facilitated thinking about invitations and instructions in an exhibition space. Simultaneously, Khoj organised a Khirkee Walk for the residents to situate themselves better within the community. The cohort also visited Old Delhi with the Khoj Team to understand where they could source materials from. Khoj also collaborated with the Serendipity Arts Foundation to organise a closed door, informal session for the residents of both the organisations with Saurabh Wasson for a workshop on networking within the arts. The Peers also visited the Asia Art Archive and the Alakazi Theatre Archives.
