PartArt4OW: open call for art and science projects

The PartArt4OW project has launched its first open call for the selection of artistic, interdisciplinary and participatory initiatives that involve local communities in the protection and restoration of marine and freshwater ecosystems. The deadline for participation is set at April 3, 2025. The call offers funding for artistic projects of six months' duration, along with an acceleration program that includes training, mentoring and networking opportunities. The projects must respond to the theme "Engaging local communities for protecting and restoring marine and freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity". The initiatives must aim to create emotional connections between society, the ocean and the waters, raising awareness of environmental challenges and mobilizing citizens towards concrete actions for the protection and restoration of the ecosystems. Selected projects will receive funding up to € 50,000 and will also be presented at the PartArt4OW Demo Days, scheduled to take place.
