About This Opportunity
The Festival of Light Installations is being held for the ninth consecutive year as part of the SNFCC's Christmas World, with a theme that reimagines the landscape of the Park: BioLumina, an experience where nature is “illuminated” by imagination and technology. For the first time, the festival brings to life a natural realm made of light and sound, inviting visitors of all ages into a fantastical ecosystem. This year’s theme explores the intersection of the organic and the technological, offering a new approach to experiencing the natural environment within the urban setting—bright, interactive, and unexpectedly alive. Light-born butterflies emerge among the Planted Roofs, dandelions float inside the Dome, a luminous bird traces flight paths above the Great Lawn, and a North Star has been installed at the Water Jets.
