About This Opportunity

The BA (Hons) Fine Art programme at the University of the Highlands & Islands is delighted to partner with the Society of Scottish Artists to offer a two-week micro residency at Moray School of Art, Elgin. The selected artist will be given a dedicated studio space and access to Moray School of Art’s specialist facilities, including: * Screen printing, etching, and relief printmaking * Woodwork and casting workshops * Darkroom facilities * Fine art library, Mac suite, and digital print facilities During the residency, the artist will be expected to engage with the student and staff community. This may take the form of a half-day workshop, presentation, lecture, performance, and an artist talk with students and alumni. The residency will culminate in a solo exhibition of up to two weeks in MSA’s dedicated gallery space. The exhibition may include works-in-progress created during the residency alongside earlier works. Final details will be confirmed with the selected artist.

Restrictions

Applicants must hold an active SSA membership (Artist, Graduate, Student, or Professional). New members are welcome to join before the deadline.
