Open Call: Large gable painting for Street Art Festival 2025 in Brande

Lions Brande is looking for a skilled, top-professional Danish or international Street Art artist who, as a prelude to the 9th edition of Brande's successful international Street Art festival, can be responsible for the execution of a large, unique gable artwork of approximately 250 m2, which will adorn the city for many years to come. Brande is already widely famous for its many gable artworks – and for modern art in the open space. This new gable artwork will be the city's largest of its kind. We imagine a gable artwork – preferably of the AR or Trompe l'oeil type – that captivates and surprises the viewer, and where the work possibly meets the present – both historically and artistically. 2025 is the year when Brande can celebrate its 850th anniversary and look back on a particularly exciting development – from a small village community on the heath that arose around the newly built church – to the enterprising city and dynamic business area that the city has developed into today.
