About This Opportunity

Disability Arts Cymru (DAC) invites submissions from disabled, d/Deaf and neurodivergent artists from across Wales for our upcoming national touring exhibition: Effaith This ambitious project will showcase powerful and innovative visual art by disabled artists at five leading arts venues across Wales, running from February 2026 to March 2027. About the Exhibition Effaith (Impact) will explore themes of nature, landscape and climate justice through the lens of disability. The exhibition offers audiences across Wales an opportunity to engage with disabled perspectives on one of the most urgent issues of our time. We are seeking work in any visual art form, including (but not limited to): painting, drawing, sculpture, moving image, photography, mixed media, sound, digital, and installation. Touring Venues The exhibition will tour to: Galeri, Caernarfon Tŷ Pawb, Wrexham g39, Cardiff The Riverfront, Newport Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Aberystwyth Each venue will also host public workshops led by exhibiting artists Who Can Apply We welcome submissions from: Disabled, d/Deaf and/or neurodivergent artists based in Wales Disabled, d/Deaf and/or neurodivergent artists from elsewhere in the UK with a strong connection to Wales Individual artists, collectives, or collaborative groups We especially encourage applications from those who face multiple barriers to participation, including artists from racialised communities, LGBTQIA+ artists, and those with intersecting identities.
